You don't need to have everything figured out. YPHS helps young people ages 14–24 discover their direction, build what they need, gain real-world experience and connect with opportunities that can move them forward.

Share your experience, knowledge or professional insight with a young person on their pathway. Mentorship at YPHS is flexible — it may include professional conversations, group mentoring, short-term guidance, career exposure, trades mentorship or longer-term one-to-one mentoring where appropriate.

Employers, professionals, tradespeople and entrepreneurs can help create meaningful opportunities for young people — career conversations, workplace exposure, job shadowing, mentorship, employment opportunities, apprenticeship exposure and professional guidance.

YPHS is not trying to replace what your organization does. Where strong community expertise already exists, YPHS seeks to connect and collaborate rather than unnecessarily duplicate. We welcome co-delivery, specialized expertise, referrals, community connections and joint initiatives.

Volunteers play an important role in YPHS programs and initiatives. Whether you can help at events, support activities or contribute specific skills, your time makes a difference.

YPHS is a BC non-profit society. Sponsorship and donations help us deliver programs, run community initiatives and support young people on their pathway. YPHS is not currently a registered charity and does not issue charitable tax receipts. Charitable registration is in progress.
